More than 40 pieces of legislation have passed the House and moved to the Senate for their concurrence.  This week, I would like to highlight a few legislative measures that I believe are significant for the people of my district.

Falmouth man, friends build gold ‘55 Chevrolet

By Burton Cole FALMOUTH — Call it the gold standard. Steve Blades of Falmouth and two fellow fans of classic Chevys just last week completed building an exquisite—and expensive—detailed replica of General Motor’s 50 millionth car, a golden 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe.

State party deems Ernst election invalid

PCHS grad makes music with the stars

By Nila Harris If you caught “The Today Show” on Dec. 14, chances are the fiddle player looked familiar. Brandon Godman, Pendleton County High School Class of 2005, accompanied country music star Jon Pardi on the NBC telecast. Godman is no stranger to performing in the limelight.
