County Clerk celebrates retirement

The Pendleton County Clerk’s Office on Friday celebrated the retirement of longtime clerk Rita Spencer — a week early. Spencer said they didn’t want to clash with the retirement celebration this coming Friday of Circuit Court Clerk Michael Redden.

By Nila Harris Pendleton County native Natalie Kelsch Stewart and her husband, AJ, are no strangers to bike riding, nor exercising other parts of the body.On June 20, the Stewarts participated in the Cincinnati Cycle Club’s annual ride that passes through Pendleton County.

Wolfe said the number of entries slipped a few years ago when the fair was forced to switch to a June starting date to accommodate the availability of the carnival rides company.
