Virus benches the Ladycats

    In a letter put out last week from the Pendleton County Board of Education after COVID-19 protocols the Ladycat Basketball team is going on a pause.     The Ladycats had two games canceled during the pause period, one with Campbell County and another with Dayton.

    Rogers played both sides of the ball for Head Coach Brian Burgemeir. He totaled 368 rushing yards and four touchdowns on offense. Defensively he racked up 64 total touchdowns.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Rhyne Howard scored 14 points and Chasity Patterson had 12, but the 12th-ranked Kentucky women's basketball team fell to No. 25 Tennessee 70-53 on Sunday at Thompson-Boling Arena. Kentucky (11-4, 4-3 SEC) struggled shooting the ball for the entire game.

KHSAA may have to consider allowing basketball players to adopt pickup rules where you "call your own" fouls. For the second week in a row, Pendleton County High School basketball program had to shutdown after an official that had called their game tested positive for Covid.
