    Remember those childhood memories of bundling up in the car and driving around to see Christmas lights? This year, more than ever, we need a little holiday cheer. Pendleton County Tourism is excited to sponsor Shine On, Pendleton County, the area’s first holiday lights contest!

Pendleton County in run as red zone county

    Pendleton County continues to be designated red zone for the eighth day in a row.     After first being labeled a red zone county on Sunday, November 8, the county reached a zenith of  58.7 on Thursday, November 12 when 16 new cases were reported.

Back-to-school in the middle of October

    After calling off school for an unknown period in March when Covid-19 cases first appeared in Harrison County, the staff at Pendleton County schools spent the weekend developing a virtual learning option they would use for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.

Butler and Falmouth have their councils

    It was a tale of two cities.     One city had six clear- cut choices to serve on city council on the night of Election Day.     One city had to wait three days for the absentee ballots deadline and a flip of the coin to have its full contingent of city council members.
