WWII Veterans remembered on Memorial day

    Many Pendleton County residents headed to battle during World War II as the free country fought against the Axis powers of Germany, Italy and Japan.     Fifty-one never returned home to Pendleton County and gave the ultimate sacrifice for that freedom that their country represents.

    WoodmenLife chapters across the country are participating in the Equipping Our Hometown Heroes campaign and giving back to first responders organizations in their hometowns. Chapter 611 in Falmouth recently donated $500 to Pendleton County Emergency Management.

Bridge on Hwy 159 to be replaced

    Work will soon begin to replace a bridge on KY 159 (Pleasant Hill Road) in Pendleton County as part of the Bridging Kentucky program. The bridge crosses North Little Kincaid Creek (4.6 milepost).
