Dear Editor:

As the only one of the four congressional leaders not from New York or California, my job is to look out for middle America — the region liberals refer to with contempt as flyover country. My mission especially is to look out for Kentucky, my favorite state in middle America.
Washington Democrats don’t care about Kentucky values. They want to defund the police and take away your Second Amendment rights. They want free health care for illegal immigrants, yet refuse to protect unborn Americans. Washington Democrats don’t care about confirming judges that will protect your constitutional rights.
Unlike Washington Democrats, I deliver on the issues that matter most to Kentucky. But if my opponent were to be successful this November, her first vote would put Kentucky interests at the back of the line. Her first vote would be to make Chuck Schumer majority leader, transferring the advantage from Kentucky to New York. Then, she would vote to make Washington, D.C., a state, awarding the swamp two Senators just like Kentucky. My opponent would hike taxes on hardworking families, legalize taxpayer-funded abortions, and change the fabric of Kentucky.
With me in the Senate, Kentucky has a Senator working for them.
Sincerely
Mitch McConnell
U.S. Senate Majority Leader
