Fall Sports Award Reception set for November 17 Print E-mail

The Pendleton County High School Athletic Department will host the Fall Sports Awards Reception on Sunday, November 17 in the PCHS Auditorium with a pictorial season in review beginning at 1:15  p.m. and the awards reception at 1:30 p.m.

Awards will be presented for academics, seniors and for the fall sports of golf, football, volleyball, soccer and cross country.


"Meet the Teams" on November 21 Print E-mail

The Ladycats, CheerCats and Wildcats wish to invite PC Cat Nation to "Meet the Team" starting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 21 at Pendleton County High School.

The evening will be loaded with activities for the public to get to know the 2013-14 editions of the Pendleton County Ladycats, Pendleton County Wildcats and Pendleton County CheerCats.

That night, the CheerCats will be performing their routine that will be used in the 10th Region Cheerleading Competition on Saturday, November 23 at Nicholas County.

The Wildcats and Ladycats both will play on that same Saturday in the Pendleton County Panorama. The Wildcats play Villa Madonna at 1:45 p.m. and the Ladycats conclude it versus Calvary Christian.

Also, meet the first Ladycats and Wildcats Bowling teams in school history.

Come out and support the PC athletes as they embark on their winter sports season!

Boys finish third, girls fourth at Harrison Invitational Print E-mail

Twenty-four runners from Sharp Middle and Pendleton County High School made the trip down US 27 on a cold Thursday night to compete in the Harrison County Invitational, held at the Cynthiana Country Club. Both varsity teams ran well, with many athletes shaving twenty seconds or more off of last week’s times.

Wildcats football team falls to Brossart on Senior Night Print E-mail

The Pendleton County Wildcats hosted the Bishop Brossart Mustangs at Veteran’s Field this past Saturday evening in their final home football contest of the 2013 campaign.

The Wildcats were coming off a tough 41-14 loss at the hands of Erlanger Lloyd and needed a victory in order to have a chance at a .500 season. The Mustangs had designs of spoiling the party; Brossart scored 16 unanswered points in the final frame and pulled out a 22-14 victory.

Ladycats volleyball season comes to end in five Print E-mail

The Ladycats had split with Nicholas County in two matches during the regular season and after the first four games of the first round match-up of the 38th District Tournament, they had split four games and went into a pivotal 15-point, 5th game.

Nicholas County would jump out to a 6-1 lead and held on for the 3-2 victory by winning 15-7 in the 5th.

Boden named all-tournament Print E-mail

Pendleton Ladycats Volleyball sophomore Bailey Boden was selected as a member of the 38th District All-Tournament team.  She is joined on the all-tournament team and in the picture by Robertson County’s Lacey Mitchell daughter of PC Food Service Director Lisa Mitchell.


Fitzpatrick receives soccer honors Print E-mail

Erin Fitzpatrick defends in the 10th Region first round match-up with Montgomery County.  Erin was named by regional coaches as the 10th Region Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All 10th Region.


Wirth named all-region second team Print E-mail

Madison Wirth, along with teammate Sydney Dietrich, defends a Montgomery County striker during first round 10th Region action.  Madison was named by the 10th Region coaches as the first selection on the 10th Region All-Region Second Team.


Ladycats fall in regional semi-finals Print E-mail

Amber Blackaby defends a Lady Mustang player in the 10th Region Semi-Finals.  For the second straight year, Brossart won the game over the Ladycats and went on to claim the 10th Region Championship advancing to the state tournament.
