Heroin, a terrible epidemic across our county

Unless you are a hermit, you probably know someone who has suffered from the current plague, or better yet, heroin epidemic that is sweeping our county's communities. You may have know some of those who have died over the past few years. Think of the panic this would have cause if these young people had died from "west nile" or  "swine flu" but for some reason heroin, though more deadly, is not as great a concern.

Please take a few moments to read these two verses. Take them with you. Share them with neighbors, your congregation, friends and family. We are all vulnerable to the social discord that comes from heroin addiction. We are all responsible to each other to rid our community of it, too.

If anyone really knew

“I am Heroin” I destroy homes, tear families apart, take your children, and that’s just the start. I’m more costly than diamonds, more costly than gold, the sorrow I bring is a sight to behold, and if you need me, I’m so easily found. I live all around you, and hang around town.
