Northern Kentucky Athletics announces plan for spectators at home basketball events

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Northern Kentucky University Department of Athletics has made the difficult decision to begin the 2020-21 men’s and women’s basketball seasons without spectators at home contests through at least Dec. 31, 2020.

Final Four set for Phoenix, Larson joins Hendricks, Jackie Boggs RIP

    Martinsville short track racing set the final four next week for the championship. In a do-or-die situation, Chase Elliott pulled out the win after a controversial pit stop penalty was reversed   and will be racing for his first championship.

Jack and Wolfe run at KHSAA State

    One Pendleton County High School Cross Country member finished his career on the state course while the other started what could be a great career.     Senior Garrett Jack ran a 19:18.98 over the state course and finished in 111th out of 251 runners.

The battle of U.S. 27

    The Battle of US 27 ended with a 41-12 Bishop Brossart victory. It was the Wildcats debut at the new Mustang Athletic Complex. Opened in 2019, the Cincinnati Bengals donated $200,000 to help aid the construction of the project.

Volleyball battle the Lady Saints in regional action

    Ladycat Volleyball went into region play looking to secure the program’s first win ever at region. They were facing St. Pat a team they just played a couple of weeks ago. St. Pat is fielding one of its strongest teams in recent memory and accumulated a 19-2 record.
