One Pendleton County High School Cross Country member finished his career on the state course while the other started what could be a great career.
Senior Garrett Jack ran a 19:18.98 over the state course and finished in 111th out of 251 runners.
Seventh grader Klaber Wolfe participated in his first state meet and ran a 20:54.16 to finish 185th.
There was a two seventh graders who finished above him.
Nicholas Stewart of Bell County ran a 19:02.63 for 91st and Jack Fraser of Scott High School finished 182nd with a time just three seconds in front of Wolfe.
