Bengals lose in waning seconds to Browns 37-34

The Cincinnati Bengals scored a touchdown with just over a minute to go on a 3-yard scoring pass to Giovani Bernard, and it looked like the Bengals would escape with the victory.

Sarr, Toppin Immediately Eligible for 2020-21 Season

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Olivier Sarr and Jacob Toppin are eligible to compete for the Kentucky men’s basketball team this season. The NCAA and Southeastern Conference have determined Sarr and Toppin are immediately eligible to play at Kentucky for the 2020-21 season.

Logano locks up spot, Larson races local and Deegan debuts in trucks

    Joey Logano secured the first spot in the final four with a win at Kansas. He raced near the front all day, but couldn’t hold first place. Late in the race he entered the pits in second behind Harvick, but after a blazing fast pit stop came out in first ahead of Harvick by tenths of a second.

PC Cross Country runs in Meet of Champions

    This year, Elizabethtown and Paris will host the KTCCCA State Meet of Champions cross country races due to COVID regulations and the need to socially distance. Levi Wolfe traveled to Elizabethtown as the sole representative for Pendleton County in the 4th and Under State Championship.

PC Soccer team stunned in 38th District Semis

    The Pendleton County High School Wildcat soccer team had a lot of determination going into district play. However, it all came to an end in the 38th District semifinals to Mason County last Tuesday, October 13.

PC Football upended by Fleming Co.

        After a strong first quarter defensively for the Wildcats by holding the Panthers scoreless, Fleming County started to find their rhythm. Four turnovers cost the Wildcats momentum. The Panthers took advantage of those opportunities by efficiently completing drives with scores.

Ladycat Volleyball ends season with a win; head into districts

    The Ladycats ended their regular season with a win over Owen County. The game was competitive, but never in doubt as the Ladycats took both sets 25-16, 25-20.       Addyson Crouch led the team with seven kills, six blocks, and two aces.

Ladycat Soccer play in 10th Region tournament

    The Ladycats gave a great effort throughout districts and region play. Raegan Carlisle scored the only Ladycat goal for the Ladycats during tournament play on an assist from Cailyn Harper.

Skinner’s Career-High 21 Kills Sends No. 3 UK Past Tennessee

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Senior Avery Skinner pummeled a career-high 21 kills on Saturday night, as the No. 3 Kentucky Volleyball team powered past Tennessee 3-1 (24-26, 25-23, 25-22, 25-13) to sweep the opening two-match series of the season. Kentucky improves to 2-0 on the season.
