2024 Falmouth Outlook Bracket Challenge

By Sam McClanahanThe 2024 NCAA Tournament did not produce many upsets in the first few days as many of the top seeds advanced to make up the Sweet Sixteen. In fact, this year marks just the fifth time since 1979 that all of the number one and two seeded teams made it through the first two rounds.

Despite 0-5 start, Jones believes Wildcats are progressing

By Sonja Barnard and Sam McClanahanThe Pendleton County Wildcats baseball team dropped three contests last week to fall to 0-5 in the young season. Team head coach Nate Jones believes his squad is trending in the right direction and is a couple adjustments away from finding success.

By Jennifer ReddenThe Region 7 Boys and Girls Archery Tournament took place on March 23 at Bourbon County High School. Teams in Region 7 include Augusta, Bath, Bourbon, Bracken, Fleming, George Rogers Clark, Harrison, Mason, Montgomery, Pendleton, and Robertson counties.

Tennis takes on Harrison & Bracken

First Meet for PHS Track and Field

By Jennifer ReddenThe PCHS track team had their first meet on March 23 at the Bracken County Border Clash.The PC girls placed fifth with 2.67 points and the boys placed fourth with 28 points. Other teams in the competition were Milford, Harrison County, Mason County, Augusta, and Bracken County.

Ladycats drop three in opening week

By Sam McClanahan The Pendleton County Ladycats Fastpitch Softball team began their 2024 season last week and fell in all three games that they took part in. Despite a slow start, optimism remains high that things will turn around quickly.

Wildcats season ends following loss to GRC at region quarterfinals

By Sam McClanahanMAYSVILLE -- The Pendleton County Wildcats entered the 10th Region Tournament knowing they would need to put forth their best performance to date in order to keep their season alive.

Ladycats place runner-up at districts, set to face Bracken in regionals
