Wildcats defeat Paris, secure most wins since 2018

By Sam McClanahan  The Pendleton County Wildcats dropped two of three contests last week, however the team was able clinch its most successful season in six years. With a 74-61 win at Feb. 15 at Paris, the Wildcats notched their 13th victory of the season.
The Pendleton County High School Cheer Cats finished third, its highest finish ever, in the Universal Cheerleaders Association National High School Cheerleading Championships. The Cheer Cats competed in the Small Varsity Coed Division II Game Day competition.

The PCHS Competitive Cheer Team competed at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Nationals on Feb. 9 at Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL. The team had an excellent performance with zero deductions and advanced to the finals, which were held on the evening of Feb. 12.

By Sam McClanahan  The Pendleton County Wildcats took on a pair of rivals from the 38th District and came away with mixed results. The team scored a lopsided 85-52 victory over Robertson County on Jan. 30 but would fall at Nicholas County 64-59 on Feb.
