Ladycats split two at David Irey Classic

By: Sam McClanahanAfter a two-week layoff due to a heavy rain pattern brought in by Mother Nature, the Pendleton County Ladycats Fastpitch Softball team returned to action taking part in the David Irey Classic held in Maysville.

By Sam McClanahanThe 2024 NCAA Tournament did not produce many upsets in the first few days as many of the top seeds advanced to make up the Sweet Sixteen. In fact, this year marks just the fifth time since 1979 that all of the number one and two seeded teams made it through the first two rounds.

Despite 0-5 start, Jones believes Wildcats are progressing

Tennis takes on Harrison & Bracken

First Meet for PHS Track and Field

By Jennifer ReddenThe PCHS track team had their first meet on March 23 at the Bracken County Border Clash.The PC girls placed fifth with 2.67 points and the boys placed fourth with 28 points. Other teams in the competition were Milford, Harrison County, Mason County, Augusta, and Bracken County.

Ladycats drop three in opening week

By Sam McClanahan The Pendleton County Ladycats Fastpitch Softball team began their 2024 season last week and fell in all three games that they took part in. Despite a slow start, optimism remains high that things will turn around quickly.
