The feels-like heat values continue to top 100 degrees in Northern Kentucky, but that didn’t stop people from turning out festivals and events in Pendleton County. Two of them included the second annual Balloons and Tunes on Saturday at the Kentucky Wool Festival Grounds, above. The third annual Pendleton County Farm Tour was held Saturday with 10 stops on the self-driving tour look at the variety of agriculture in the county.

KRTFALMOUTH — Kincaid Regional Theatre opened Ted Swindley’s “Honky Tonk Angels,” on July 10.The show follows the stories of three gutsy gals from different backgrounds at the moment they decide to take charge of their lives.

By Nila Harris FALMOUTH — Jeanna Gregg, Falmouth, has been shooting pool since she was 8 years old. Her father Gale Gregg, who also enjoys the sport, established his own pool hall to encourage Jeanna’s passion for the sport.
