By Nila HarrisBUTLER — The Sharp Middle School Future Problem-Solving team took first place compete at the Regional Governor’s Cup tournament on Feb. 10 at St. Agnes School in Fort Wright.In between snow days, the Sharp Middle School academic team was able to compete.

On Jan. 27, a group of 42 youngsters, ages 5-8, met at the Pendleton County Extension Office in Falmouth for a “souper” good time as the 4-H Cloverbuds explored soup.

Caleb Biddle was named Snowball Dance King, and Kree Brewer as queen of the annual Pendleton County High School Snowball Dance, held Saturday. The dance was sponsored by the PCHS Cheer Team, which uses the money raised to pay for extra training and regional, state and national competitions.

By Rhonda Hutchison On November 16, the Pendleton County bowling team participated in the Holy Cross High School Team Baker Event. Five team members had to bowl two seeding games each.The Wildcats had a total pin count of 1732 and seeded fourth out of 15 boys teams.
