Jones is solid in Reds exhibition game

The Cincinnati Reds came from behind on Tuesday evening in their exhibition game versus the Detroit Tigers winning 9-7. The two teams will play a second game at 6:10 on Wednesday night before the two teams open the season on Friday night, July 24 at 6:10 p.m.

All Star Race at Bristol and Busch stripped of win

     The All Star race had a little different look this season as NASCAR took the event to Bristol and the short track. Location wasn’t the only change for the night as the numbers, as we mentioned last week, were moved from the center of the door closer to the rear wheel on the quarterpanel.

Max Duffy on Ray Guy Watch List

University of Kentucky senior punter Max Duffy is one of 19 candidates on the preseason watch list for the 2020 Ray Guy Award, it was announced Wednesday by the Augusta Sports Council. Duffy was the winner of the 2019 Ray Guy Award which honors the nation’s top collegiate punter.

Senior punter Max Duffy and junior offensive tackle Darian Kinnard have been named to the 2020 preseason All-America team by Phil Steele’s College Football. Duffy, a native of Perth, Australia, was named a first-team All-American on special teams after an impressive 2019 season.
