Blanket Creek
Scripture was Ephesians 1:1-14.
Sealed with the Holy Spirit of Promise. God sent His Son and the Son sent the Holy Spirit. Sometimes we think we are deserving of good things when actually we deserve nothing. God sent His Son to offer us sealed redemption through the Holy Spirit. We are so Spiritually blessed every day but in order to have that sealed redemption we must first accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Have you done that yet? It’s the only way to Jesus and eternity. We are having VBS this week Wednesday -Friday from 6-8:30 p.m., with a cookout Friday. Hope to see your kids there.

Butler Christ Community
Greetings friends. Well that’s a wrap on this year’s VBS. It was a wonderful week, full of fun, crafts, songs, food and good Bible stories full of characters and drama and even a tornado warning to make it even more exciting! The last night was a perfect day filled with water slides, food and good old fashioned fun. Thanks to all the helpers who came together to make this week so special for our kiddos.
The young people of our church took the reins and were in charge of the entire service on Sunday! We are so proud of each and everyone of you.
The youth will be meeting with Will on Friday the 31. All youth grades 7-12 are invited.
Men’s prayer breakfast will be Saturday the 1st of August at 8:30.
There will be a movie night on August 7 at 6:30.
It was so good to be with our sisters and brothers from other churches this week.

New Life Wesleyan
Sunday morning service was blessed by having a young man and woman sing for us. They did a great job. Their group name is Wholly Harmony. We were very blessed to enjoy their talents.
Our Wesleyan Campground in Maysville will be on fire all week with anointed preaching, singing and testimonies. Services are nightly at 7 p.m. All are invited.

Our Vacation Bible School director, Charity Andrews, presented $389.31 to Kelly Mosely of the Gathering Wing in Falmouth. Our VBS kids were delighted to give to this fine ministry.
August 2 is our “Family Fun Day”. Immediately following morning worship will be a pot-luck meal, following with lots of fun. Come join us.

Bro. Mark’s message was from Galatians 6:9-10.
Let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don’t get discouraged and give up. We should be kind to everyone even to our Christian brothers and sisters. Don’t be misled, you can’t ignore God and get away with it. A man will reap what they sow. If he sows to please his own desires, he’s planting seeds of evil. But if he plants good seeds, he will reap everlasting life. Our reactions should always be godly, inside and outside of the church and in our daily walk of life. Never give up!

Jesus Is The Way, from John 14:1-14, this was the children’s message. Bro. Dale told the kids how getting directions from place to place has changed over the years; at first a compass was used, then there were maps to follow, and now we have GPS. But the only way to heaven is to accept Jesus as your personal Savior. ‘Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
Kip Gregg read 1 Peter 1:18-19 followed by the Praise team special, The Cross. Bro. Dale’s message was from Luke 24:25-27. “He said to them, ‘How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken?’” v. 25.
Don’t be foolish, get to know Jesus Christ, accept Him as your Savior. All roads may eventually lead home, but there’s only one way to eternal life!
