BUTLER — Helen B. Campbell, 91, of Butler, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at her home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1934, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Roy and Lola Campbell Yoakum.
Helen was a member of the Pendleton County Sportsmen’s Club.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Campbell; brothers, Doyle “Duke” and Kenneth Yoakum; sisters, Christine Yoakum Bumgardner, Jeanette “Pudge” Yoakum Tanner and Jackie Ray Yoakum.
She is survived by her son, Paul (Ellen) Campbell; daughter, Donna (Alan Ritchie) Campbell; brother, David Yoakum; grandchildren, Dillon and Spencer Campbell, Eddie (Ashley) Wilfong and Charlotte Wilfong; and great-grandchildren, Lance and Raelynn Wilfong.
Visitation will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler. Funeral service will be held the following day, Friday, Aug. 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Helen’s final resting place will be at the Butler Cemetery.
