911 calls rerouted

By Jemi Chew FALMOUTH — Roy T. Mains, the most decorated Vietnam veteran in Pendleton County, boarded an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., on May 18.“I got to see the Vietnam Wall and walked down there,” Mains said last week.“Everything was interesting, very heartfelt.

Butler man held after shooting

By Carolyn Reid ALEXANDRIA — Corey Gray, a resident of Flour Creek Road in Butler, is being held in the Campbell County detention center on a $1 million bond on charges of attempted murder and wanton endangerment.

By Jemi ChewFALMOUTH — Around 4 p.m. on May 8, a plane landed in Falmouth at Gene Snyder Airport, which is located just off KY-22, left of Highway 27 N.

Smoke alarms credited with saving lives of couple and pets

3 charged in 2023 case of baby death

By Carolyn ReidFALMOUTH — After a 13-month investigation, Falmouth police arrested three people in connection to the March 1, 2023, death of a newborn. The arrests took place last Thursday.

By Carolyn Reid Police Chief Marty Hart recently brought in some new blood and some veteran skills to the Falmouth Police Department with the addition of Officers Matthew Campbell and Kyle Florer.Hart states the force has met approximately 85 percent of its goal to be a 24/7 department.
