He had to keep his word!

Northern Elementary custodian Tom Koettel had a story to tell last week when he was spotted wearing an elf handband as he worked parent pick-up.

Mr. Tom, as the children call him, told The Outlook he had approached a couple preschool girls the day before, and he admired on their headware. He asked them if he should wear one, and the next day they came in with this headware for him. 

What is a role model for children to do? He donned the headband and wore it the rest of the day, all while being a great sport about it.
