‘Born-alive’ bill clears Senate committee

FRANKFORT – Legislation titled the Born-Alive Infant Protection Act passed the Kentucky Senate Veterans, Military Affairs and Public Protection Committee today. The measure, known as Senate Bill 9, would require that an infant born alive to be given the appropriate medical care to preserve life.
