Keep the vaccine in Pendleton County

With no public transportation to metro areas and the dangers that Covid-19 offers to many of our population, it is vital that the vaccine is consistently available within our county borders.     A month ago, Governor Andy Beshear released a plan that option became unknown.

Council discuss handling ordinance violators

Falmouth City Council addressed code enforcement complications during its February 2, 2021, caucus. While Police Chief Shannon Clem confirmed that most who violate the city ordinances comply after a warning or a city citation, others do not.

92 years old and still serving Pendleton County

February 3, 2021 is now officially Howard Johnston Day, Proclaims County Judge Executive David Fields. Mr. Johnston, who turned 92 years old on that day, was elected to hold the Pendleton County Property Survey office in 1989 and still holds that office to date.

12-year-old saves grandfather from devastating house fire

By FOX19     People in the Falmouth community are applauding a 12-year-old boy after he saved his grandfather from a house fire last week.     The fire occurred off KY-22 near McGraw Road in Pendleton County.     Shelby Stephens says he’s lived at the house most of his life.
