County Clerk celebrates retirement

The Pendleton County Clerk’s Office on Friday celebrated the retirement of longtime clerk Rita Spencer — a week early. Spencer said they didn’t want to clash with the retirement celebration this coming Friday of Circuit Court Clerk Michael Redden.

Just your everyday 100-mile bicycle ride

By Nila Harris Pendleton County native Natalie Kelsch Stewart and her husband, AJ, are no strangers to bike riding, nor exercising other parts of the body.On June 20, the Stewarts participated in the Cincinnati Cycle Club’s annual ride that passes through Pendleton County.

By Nila Harris FALMOUTH — Lindsey Arkenau knows all about the Pendleton County Youth Fair. She’s been showing sheep there since she was 2 years old.Now, as an adult, she is one of the many volunteers who helps get things ready for the weeklong event.
