A two-vehicle accident claimed one life just after 5 a.m. Thursday, February 11 on KY 17 near the Pendleton/Kenton county lines.

According to early reports, a tractor-trailer and a pick-up truck collided after the pick-up crossed the center line while heading south into Pendleton County.

The hunt for a missing Pendleton County woman continues as the community pulls together in search of answers and the woman’s possible whereabouts.

At a special called meeting on Wednesday evening February 3, 2016, Falmouth City Council met to interview candidates for a empty position vacated by Jodi Chaplin-Ramey. Mayor Elonda Hinson stated that four applications for the position were submitted but two dropped out. Two candidates remained to be interviewed.
