Pendleton County was well represented at the Kentucky Farm Bureau District 9 Outstanding Youth Contest. The contest was held at Blue Licks State Park.

The Pendleton County Teen Court held a mock trial at the Pendleton County Justice Center on October 20, 2014.

If you drive down Straight Shoot Road be sure to check out the yard of Greg and Cheryl Mattox. It is filled with spooky Halloween characters! The couple put out a great display for everyone to see. Greg tries to add something new to the creepy lineup each year and the haunted hearse pulled in this October.

The Ladycat Volleyball team finished runner-up in the 38th District Tournament claiming a berth in the 10th Region Volleyball Tournament to be held Scott County High School.
