Cross Winds Farm is hosting the annual Pendleton County Horse Health Day, starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 8.
Coggins, health certificates, yearly exams, vaccines, basic medical procedures completed, farrier Remington Leach available for trimming and shoeing. No farm call charge! Gift raffle entry for each horse who receives a Coggins. Prices are reflected at lickingvalleyvet.com.
This year, free educational stations have been added and a guest lecturer will give a talk and demonstration at 11:30 a.m. The education stations are perfect for current horse owners, those who want to own a horse and learn more about them, children and 4-H’ers to learn more about proper care, health, and handling of horses. If your 4-H’ers need educational hours for this year, now is your chance!
Dogs available for adoption on site from the Pendleton County Shelter.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit area charities and 4-H groups.
You must schedule an appointment by contacting Dr. Nathan Glaza at 859-472-4141 or thru his website at www.lickingvalleyvet.com so sufficient quantities of vaccines are on hand.
Cross Winds Farm is conveniently located just 20 minutes off I-75, 20 minutes south of Alexandria off US 27, near Hwy 22 West.
