Oakland VBS, June 19-22 Print E-mail

Oakland Christian Church would like to invite all youth ages pre-school through sixth grade to Vacation Bible School June 19-22. Times are as follows: Thursday and Friday 6:30-8:30 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.-noon and Sunday 10:30 a.m., with lunch to follow. Kids will explore God’s nature at “Jungle Safari” with Bible stories, music, crafts, food and learning how to serve the Lord! If your child needs transportation please call 859-654-6174 and leave a message.


Blanket Creeek VBS, June 20-27 Print E-mail

Blanket Creek Baptist Church, 5080 Broadford Road, will be holding “Jungle Safari” Vacation Bible School. Youth VBS will be held June 20-22 at Camp Northward. Children VBS will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. June 26-27. Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. VBS will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on June 28. Breakfast will be served from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Commencement will be held at 11 a.m. June 29, For ride, call 859-654-5080 or 859-654-8300.

Neave United Methodist Church Annual Homecoming Print E-mail

The folks at Neave United Methodist Church cordially invite you to attend the annual Homecoming event on Sunday, May 25, 2014.

Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m. A potluck meal will be served at 12 noon  in the basement of the church.

The program this year will dedicate the remodeling of the church basement and elevator in memory of Bertha Teegarden Wiglesworth.

After lunch Adarin Williams and others will bless us with music. Come celebrate and remember.
