Graveside services were held December 26, 2013 at the Lenoxburg Cemetery, Bracken Co.

Lucy Ellen Carter Dreyer, 95, of Falmouth passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 in Maysville.

She was born in Bath Co. to Jesse James and Minnie Alice Carmichael Ingram.

Preceding her in death were husband of 35 years, John W. Carter; eight brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are husband of 45 years, Paul J. Dreyer, Falmouth; daughters, Alice A. Carter (Virgil) Branham, Falmouth, Nora L. Carter (Gordon) Milburn, Alexandria; brother, Gene (Sue) Ingram, Owingsville; sisters, Mary (Mitchell) Spencer, Mt. Sterling, Charlotte Ingram Carter, Goshen, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held December 19, 2013 at Cooper Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Interment took place at Evergreen Cemetery, Highland Heights.

Surviving are sons, Eddie Jones, Dry Ridge, James Jones, Covington; and daughters, Carol Sexton, Falmouth, Tammy Stirle, Falmouth.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth.

Interment took place at the Morgan Cemetery in Pendleton County.

Mabel K. Oliver, 89, of Falmouth passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at River Valley Nursing Home.

Surviving are sons, Kenny, Gary and Terry Oliver; and daughter, Kathy Owens.

Funeral services were held Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Bethel Church, Butler. Peoples Funeral Home served the family.

Interment took place in the Bethel Cemetery, Butler.

Betty Lou Thomas, 77, of Falmouth passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at her home.

Surviving are sons, Jerry and Frank Thomas; and daughters, Theresa Gober and Bonnie Stephens.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. with funeral to immediately follow on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Forest Lawn Chapel, Erlanger.

Interment will take place at the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Erlanger. Peoples Funeral Home is caring for the family.

Surviving are wife, Joyce Ramsey Sowder; daughter, Lisa (Hunter) Sanders, Orlando, Fla.; and sons, Brad (Helen) Kraus and Josh (Amberlyn) Kraus, both of Falmouth.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Bro. Nick Errico officiating.

Interment took place at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County.

Henrietta Clay Williams, 87 of Cynthiana passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the Robertson Co. Health Care Facility in Mt. Olivet.

Surviving are sons, Larry (Diana) Owen, Versailles, Ralph (Joyce) Williams, Cynthiana, Steve Williams, Danville, Ala.;  and daughter, Grace Irene Lemons, Cynthiana.

Funeral services were Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Woodhead Funeral Home, Berry.

Bonnie R. Lovelace, 65, of Deland, Fla., formerly of Pendleton Co., passed away Friday, December 13, 2013.

Surviving are sons, Brad and Grayson Lovelace; and daughters, Rebecca (Matthew) Kemm, Allison (Joel) Root.

Visitation will be held from noon - 2 p.m. with funeral services to immediately follow,  Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at the Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth.

Interment will take place at the Turner Ridge Cemetery in Falmouth.

 
James "Bryant" Brown, 39 Print E-mail

James “ Bryant” Brown, 39, of Falmouth passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at his  home after  a long illness.

He was born in Harrison County on September 13, 1974, to Brenda (Kenneth) Abercrombie and the late James Ellis Brown. A 1992 graduate of Pendleton High School, Bryant attended Morehead State University, graduated from Western Kentucky University, and earned his masters degree from the University of Kentucky. He was a district manager with Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals and a member of the Antioch Mills Christian Church. Bryant was loved by all who knew him, and he touched many lives in his 39 years.

Preceding him death, in addition to his father, were paternal grandparents, Raymond and Anna Brown, and his maternal grandfather, Walter Pete Angell.

Surviving, in addition to  mother, are step-father, Kenneth Abercrombie, Falmouth; sister and brother-in-law, Natalie and Ronald Golfman, Falmouth; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Angell, Grant County; nephew, Garret Marshall; niece, Madison Crawford; two step-sisters, Kimberly Short, Newport, Laura Maldonado, Baxley, Ga.; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 with funeral services at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Wilson, Brian Baldwin, Thomas Leach, Trent Brown, Derrick Brown, Duane Brown, Ronald Golfman, Donald Marshall, and Logan Bunch.

Interment will take place at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Pendleton County.
