Margaret Elizabeth McCann, 87, of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at the Hospice of Hope in Maysville.
Surviving are son, James E. (Connie) McCann and daughter, Tirah (Larry) Clemons, both of Falmouth; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Bro. Bill Wilson and Bro. Jim Flaugher officiating.

Penny Leanne Philpot, 38, of Dry Ridge, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Campbell Co. on September 5, 1974, a daughter of Judy Philpot Howard of Falmouth and the late Kenneth Toler. She was a member of the Community Pentecostal Church in Taylor Mill.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a son, Barry Hugh Hicks III of Dry Ridge; fiancé, Daniel Morris, Dry Ridge; sisters, Renee Polick, Erlanger and Candie Philpot, Latonia; and half-brothers, Wayne and Chuck Toler.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 17, 2012, at Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth, with Dan Francis officiating.
Interment took place in the Pythian Grove Cemetery, Berry.

Lynndaya Rose McKenney, the seven day old infant daughter of Jason Stanley McKenney and Angelica Michelle Richardson McKenney, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2012, at the Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are sisters, Victoryia Annmarie McKenney and Mariah Richardson; and brothers, Jason L. McKenney and Tre Cox.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Hinton United Methodist Church with Pam Mann officiating.

Norma M. House, 89, of Falmouth, passed away Wednesday December 5, 2012 at her home.
She was born in Pendleton County on June 5, 1923 and attended the Antioch Mills Christian Church. She worked for many years at Dr. Scholls, and also served in the cafeteria at the Southern Elementary in Falmouth.
Preceding here in death were parents, Charles and Lucy Rainey Colvin; and husband Donald Kenner House.
Surviving are son, Robert “Bob” (Carol) House, Falmouth; sisters, E. Ruby Wyatt, Falmouth, Dorothy Angel, Dry Ridge; grandchildren, Gaye (Eddie) Miller Adams, New Orleans, La., Robby House, Gulf Shore, Ala, Lecia (Mark) Ross, Gardnersville, Brian T. House, Georgetown; seven great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren
Funeral services were Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth.
Interment took place at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Falmouth.

Louis Ryan Meadows, 70, of Dry Ridge passed away December 3, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Ft. Thomas.
He was born July 21, 1942 in English, Ky., a 1960 graduate of the Carroll Co. High School in Carrollton and a 1964 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He taught high school math until his retirement in 1994.
Louis started the Kentucky Girls Basketball Network and wrote newsletters to keep the fans informed. He collected Elvis records and enjoyed watching westerns and old movies.
Preceding him in death were his parents and grandparents.
Surviving are brother, Marion Wayne Meadows; sister, Priscilla Shipman, both of Madison, Ind.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and one aunt.
There will be no visitation or services.
Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown will be serving the family and handling the final arrangements.

Wayne L. "Boozie" Elliott, 80, of Falmouth, past away at his home on Sunday, December 2, 2012.
Born on March 29, 1932 in Pendleton County, to the late Ernest Elliott and the late Jesse Cookendorfer Elliott Richie, he retired from the Sysco Company in Cincinnati and was a member of the Hardin- Browning Post #109. Boozie, as known to his friends, was an avid pool player and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War where he served as a gunner and spoke of his around the world trip on the USS Owen.
Following the death of his wife, he spent his golden years cheering on the UK wildcats, enjoying his great-grandchildren, and reading at the Pendleton County Library. He was a quiet man with a large heart who always thought about others before himself. As quietly as he lived, he passed, but left behind many who loved and cared for him.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were wife of forty nine years, Betty R. Elliott in March, 2003.
Surviving are sons, Anthony "Tony" Elliott, Bellevue and Mike (Patty) Elliott, Foster; daughter, Angela (Glen) Jones of Rockfield; grandchildren, Josh, Dustin, Heather, Missy, Felicia, Brittney and Cody; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his immediate family he leaves behind a large extended family and a host of friends.
The visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 with the funeral services being held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2012, both at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Bro. Rick Halcomb officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Wyrick, Cody Cole, Dustin Elliott, Joshua Elliott, Mike Elliott, and Glen Jones.
Interment with full military honors by the Hardin- Browning Post #109 will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.

Lola Gail Dixon, 33, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012.
Surviving are mothers and fathers, Janet Foster, Pamela and Donald Vanzant and Richard Rinehart Sr.; and grandmother, Myrna Byrd.

Marjorie I. Moore, 73, of Newport passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital.
She was born in Ohio on August 5, 1939, to the late James Sr. and Margerate Richards Craig.
Preceding her in death were, in addition to her parents, brothers, James Jr., Michael and Richard Craig and sister, Linda Godfrey.
Surviving are sons, Donald Estep, Katy, Texas, Michael Craig, Newport, John Craig, Wash.; daughters, Sharon Blackburn, Foster; sisters, Ida Estep, Fayette, Ohio, Eileen Craig, Cincinnati; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Gloria Mae Tucker Goins, 66, of Brooksville, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at her home.
Born on September 6, 1946 in Mentor, Ky. to the late Augustus Howard and Louella Frances Stull Tucker, she married Clarence Goins on March 16, 1964, and her dear husband survives her passing. She was a homemaker, a member of the New Hope Church of Christ, a loving wife, and a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were sister, Regina Kuss.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children, Tina (Donnie) Faul, Rebecca (Richard) Blum, Clarence (Jennifer) Goins Jr., and Lucinda (Harry) Tilton; sisters, Retha Goins, Clara Tucker, and Neola Lewis; brothers, Howard Tucker and Joseph Tucker; grandchildren, Jessie Faul, Jonathon Goins, Harley Colemire, Matthew Goins, Austin Blum, Virginia Courtney, Felicia Tilton, Shane Tilton, Charlie Tilton, Brandon Goins, Caleb Goins, Chevy Goins, and Phoenix Goins; four great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Friday, November 30, 2012, at the Woodhead Funeral Home in Falmouth with Bro. Jason Anderson officiating.
Pallbearers were Richard Blum, Joseph Tucker, Bud Tucker, David Goins Jr., Clarence Goins Jr., Michael Fathergill, Dale Fathergill, Donnie Faul, and Kyle Syndor.
Interment took place at the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.
