Kathryn Daugherty, 80, of Falmouth, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at the St. Elizabeth Health Care, Florence.
She was born in Pendleton County on December, 16, 1933 to the late Emmitt and Fannie Mae Brandt Wallace, married her dear husband Kenneth Taylor Daugherty who preceded her in death on March 29, 1989. Formerly, she worked in the cafeteria at Southern Elementary, as a custodian in the Falmouth High School and as an employee of the Dr. Scholl's Shoe Factory, Falmouth.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, were sisters, Louise Thompson, Corina "Dolly" Wallace and Dorothy Augusta Wallace.
Surviving are children, Kenneth Ray Daugherty, Bonnie Kay (Keith) Ramsey and Dorothy Ann (Brian) Crouch all of Falmouth; brother, Gary (June) Wallace, Butler; grandchildren, Cassie (James) Gamble, Chase Ramsey, Nathan (Meagan) Ramsey, Cory Ramsey and Brianna Kathryn Crouch; great-grandchildren, Christian, Jacob, Joshua and Julianna Catherine Gamble; several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2014 with funeral service immediately following at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Bro. Darrell Breeden officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Ramsey, Brian Crouch, James Gamble, Chase, Nathan and Cory Ramsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Cassie Gamble, Brianna Crouch, Meagan Ramsey, Hannah Brough and Christian, Jacob, Joshua and Julianna Gamble.
Interment will take place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.
