Falmouth's July 4th celebration Print E-mail

Festivities for the Fourth of July celebration kicks off with the annual parade taking place at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 5 in downtown Falmouth. Those that are wanting to be in the parade will meet at Southern Elementary at 2:30 p.m. the parade theme is “Good Old Red, White, and Blue, Stands For Me, Stands For You!”

There will be prizes awarded for first, second and third place overall.

There will be many activities going on at the stage on Shelby Street downtown. After the parade the Falmouth Festival Committee has over $2,000 worth of great prizes to be given away. Don't miss out on this opportunity. You could be a big winner!

After the parade there will be free food served at the Falmouth firehouse. Meal includes pulled pork sandwiches, barbecue ribs, cole slaw and chips.

At dusk the annual fireworks display will begin. Bring a lawn chair and sit back and watch. The fireworks will be held in the skate park in downtown Falmouth.
