Oakland Christian presents a "Walk Through Bethlehem" Print E-mail

As a gift to the community, God’s family at Oakland (in Pendleton County) is presenting  their “Walk through Bethlehem”  on Dec. 1 and Dec. 7-8. Come and see the shops, the sounds and sights, the guards, the hustle and bustle of Bethlehem as it might have been at the time of Jesus’ birth. Meet Mary and Joseph and the babe at the stable. See the royally robed Magi as they journey to find the baby. Your outdoor journey ends at the tomb where you’ll meet Nicodemus and an angel as they proclaim the “reason for the season.”

Come and see the true meaning of Christmas. Before your tour you will hear special singers inside the church. This is indeed a very special free event for all ages. Remember to dress warmly. Tours will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. each evening. Refreshments are served. For more info or directions, just call 859-654-6174 or 859-797-3719.
