"Stable Day" to be held March 23 Print E-mail

Cross Winds Farm is hosting the annual "Stable Day" on Saturday, March 23. It will begin at 9 a.m.

Coggins, health certificates, yearly exams, vaccines, and basic medical procedures will all be completed. No farm call charge. Pricing will reflect donations to Speak Up For Horses rescue organization.

The even is conveniently located just 20 minutes off I-75 and 20 minutes south of Alexandria off US 27.

Each horse brought will enter you in for a chance to win a horse gift basket.

K&M Feed & Tack will have a booth set up. Farrier Remington Leach will be on hand for questions and work. Remington Leach and Dr. Glaza will also hold a round-table discussion.

The event will last until all horses who have ordered are seen.  Walk-ons will get vaccines only after those who have been ordered are there.

Directions: From US 27  take Hwy 22 West. Go 4.4 miles to private gravel road on right. Event is at the large barn on left. Room for trailers. From I-75 take Hwy 22 towards Falmouth for a total of nine miles to private gravel road on left (one mile past Goforth). The event is at the large barn on the left.
