She was born on March 23, 1928 in Harrison County, to the late John Washington and Martha Jane Haley Price. She married Adrian Keith Pugh on December 16, 1944, who survives her passing. She worked in the cafeteria at the former McKinneysburg School, the Pendleton County High School and the St. Luke Care Unit. She was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ, Pendleton County and loved spending time with her family, and taking care of her flowers and vegetable garden.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children, Gary Wayne (Bonnie Sue) Pugh, Falmouth, Wanda Faye (Melvin) Leach, Alexandria, Billy Darell (Andrea) Pugh and Keith (Nancy Jane) Pugh, both of Falmouth; brother, Norman Grant (Martha) Price, Cynthiana; grandchildren, Christy Lynn (Jeff) Baumgartner, Darrin Wayne (Amy) Pugh, Jonathan Carroll (Lois) Pugh, Lori Renee Leach, Darell Glenn (Julie) Pugh, Dana Elaine (Kelly) Childers, Bradly Ross Pugh, Amberly Dawn Pugh, Brian Keith (Laura) Pugh, Anthony Shane Pugh and Tara Gaye (Dallas) Brocker; 20 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 23, 2012, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth with Bro. Bill Wilson and Bro. Jason Anderson officiating. Special music was shared by Michael Cummins, Timmy Cummins, and Tara Gaye Brocker.
The pallbearers were her grandsons. The honorary pallbearers were Norman Grant Price, Jeff Pugh, Mike Pugh, Kenneth Pugh Jr. and David Bell.
Interment took place at the Sunrise Cemetery, Harrison County.
