PCHS Track & Field program begins new era

By Jennifer Redden A new era of Pendleton County Track and Field begins this spring as the team inaugurates their new facilities.In addition to resurfacing the track, new long jump, high jump, shot put, pole vault, and discus amenities were installed.

Local basketball standouts recognized by 10th Region Coaches Association

The 10th Region Coaches Association recently announced their in-season award selections for the 2024-25 basketball season.Wildcat senior, Aden Merrill, was named 3rd Team All-Region. Merrill led the Wildcats in scoring averaging 15.6 points per game while shooting 53 percent from the field.

Wildcats earn two dramatic road wins to close regular season

By Sam McClanahanThe Pendleton County Wildcats basketball team concluded their regular season by notching a pair of dramatic, last second victories over Boone and Grant County. The team was in search of a spark to provide them some positive momentum heading into this week's 38th District Tournament.

Ladycats honor seniors, move to 12-13 on the season

By Samantha VerstThe Pendleton County Ladycats basketball team now sits at a 12-13 regular season record after a long week of games which featured two wins and two losses. They ended the week having picked up two wins over 38th district opponents, which puts them at a 4-2 district record.

PC Bowlers claim regional singles titles, prepare for state tourney

By Rhonda HutchisonOn February 3,  five Wildcat bowlers competed in the Region 5 Singles competition.  In the boys division there were 35 bowlers which included Wildcats Braden Brann, Adam Straus and Kyan Brewer.

PCHS five-peats as bowling champs

By Rhonda Hutchison Five years in a row, they just keep rolling over all obstacles to win.On Jan. 28, the Pendleton County High School Wildcat bowling team made history by winning the Region 5 Boys Team Competition for the fifth consecutive year.

Wildcats go 2-2 on the week, play in historic 'Hoosier Gym'

By Sam McClanahan The Pendleton County Wildcats basketball team concluded a busy and memorable week picking up two wins in four games. The team was also able to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity during a road trip to Indiana.The Wildcats began last week hosting Holmes High from Covington.

Ladycats Softball receives donations from Cincinnati Reds

For a second consecutive year the Pendleton County Ladycats Fastpitch Softball program was among 24 area high schools awarded free equipment from the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund. The ninth annual "Pitch In For Baseball Equipment Drive" was held at Griffin Elite in Erlanger on January 22.

PCHS Bowling program honors trio of seniors

By Rhonda Hutchison On January 18, the Wildcat Bowling Team competed in the Cooper Bowling Jaguar Classic held at Bellewood Lanes in Newport. There were a total of 17 boys/coed teams in the tournament. Each team consisted of five members.
