Ladycats finish runner-up at districts, will host regionals this week

By Sam McClanahan CYNTHIANA — The Pendleton County Ladycats Fastpitch Softball team made quick work of Nicholas County in opening round play of the 38th District Tournament last week but would fall to Harrison County in the championship round.

Ladycats Softball concludes regular season, honors Verst & Cooper

Jones selected to inaugural 10th Region Baseball HOF class

By Sam McClanahan Nate Jones, who was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in 2007 and went onto pitch in the major leagues for over a decade, was recently selected to be apart of the inaugural class for the newly-formed 10th Region Baseball Hall of Fame.

Ladycats extend winning streak to four

By Sam McClanahan The Pendleton County Ladycats appear to have found their stride as they are now enjoying a season-best four game winning streak.The team began last week hosting Notre Dame on April 22 and came away with a 3-1 win.
