Ladycats golf impressive in individual play

Wildcats host the Pendleton County Invitational

By: Sam McClanahan   The Pendleton County Wildcats Golf team hosted 14 other schools for this year's Pendleton County Invitational held at Pendleton Hills on July 24. The turnout would be the largest number of participants in several years according to Wildcats head coach Clay Monroe.

By Sam McClanahan   Pendleton County Wildcats soccer team won two of three exhibition matches while taking part in the Bluegrass Games that were held at Masterson Station Park in Lexington. On July 22, the Wildcats defeated Taylor County 3-2.

By: Stacey Myers and Sam McClanahan   The PCHS Ladycats soccer team will be competing in a pair of pre-season exhibitions beginning with a Soccerama held at Estill County on July 29 and the NKY Soccerama to be held August 5.       Team tryouts will conclude on July 18 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.

Pendleton County Cross Country practice and sign-ups for the new fall season will be held on July 15 at Sharp Middle School in Butler at 7 a.m. All students, boys and girls entering grades 6 through 12 are invited to attend.

Fuldner wins Pendleton Bay Men's Invitational

Eric Fuldner claimed Pendleton Bay Men's Invitational held on July 8-9 at Pendleton Hills in Butler. Fuldner shot a total score of 138, which was good for six under par to win the championship. He shot a 66 on day 1 followed by a 72 on the second day.

  The 2023 Bay Ladies Invitational was held on June 28 at Pendleton Hills in Butler. Diana Mueller shot a 76 to win the Invitational over Lori Eberle. Kellie House was the winner of the first flight, beating out Peggy Dean and Jenny McNay.
