Volunteers clean ball fields after flood

Members of the Pendleton County Recreation Board members as well as other local volunteers came to the rescue of the athletic park in Falmouth April 15.The recreation program put out the word on social media and asked for those that were available to come if they wanted to help.

By Burton Coleand Team Kentucky FALMOUTH — Paragon Metal Fabricators is moving into the closed Hammer Strength building and plans to retain many of the employees.The deal has been in the works for months.

By Nila HarrisBUTLER — Harland Thomas has been barrel racing since he was 4 years old. Now, at 10, Thomas has qualified for the NBHA Youth World Championship on not one, but two horses.

Falmouth hoopster competes in state Special Olympics tournament

By Nila Harris Falmouth resident Sam Bryant played in the State Special Olympics Basketball tournament March 8 and 9 at MidAmerica Sports Complex in Louisville, where his team took the silver medal.
The shelter says, “Prince is just a very playful boy. He plays with other dogs and loves toys.” A heeler mix, Prince weighs 40 pounds and is 1 to 2 years old.
