The Falmouth Rotary presented its spring Linda’s Legacy scholarships last week to two Pendleton County High School seniors, Adyson Dotson and Natalie Cummins. The scholarships, named in memory of Rotarian Linda Thornton, an educator who introduced dual credit classes to PCHS, will pay for a three-credit-hour class for recipients. Adyson said she plans to attend Eastern Kentucky University this fall to major in psychology, with a minor in criminal justice. She is aiming for a career in the judicial system administering psychological exams. Cummins said she will be heading to Northern Kentucky University as an art education major “so that I can come back and be an art teacher.”
