With the 12-5 vote of the KHSAA Board of Control, most winter sport athletes can start back practicing on Monday, December 14 with the first games scheduled as early as January 4, 2021.

CBS Sports Classic Announces Revised Game Schedule

This morning, organizers for the CBS Sports Classic announced a revised game schedule for the 2020 event, which is set for Dec. 19 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland. UCLA will take on Kentucky at 2 p.m. ET and will be followed by North Carolina and Ohio State at approximately 4:15 p.m.

@NKUNorseMBB versus Youngstown State on Dec. 20 to air on ESPNU; tipoff slated for 3 p.m.

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Horizon League office, in conjunction with ESPN, announced today that the Northern Kentucky men’s basketball game against Youngstown State on Sunday, Dec. 20, will air on ESPNU. Tipoff has been moved from its original slot back one hour to a 3 p.m.

KHSAA BOC makes a set of difficult decisions on restart of high school sports

KHSAA Sweet 16 is back on the schedule for March 29 through April 8 according to a 14-3 KHSAA Board of Control vote held today. In addition, the board reaffirmed their decision from November by a 12-5 vote to start athletic contests on January 4, 2021.

REDS MOVE CLOSER TO MINOR LEAGUE AGREEMENTS

CINCINNATI - The Cincinnati Reds have extended invitations to keep their minor league affiliates in Louisville, Chattanooga, Dayton and Daytona.             The Reds will keep their short-season teams at their Arizona League and the Dominican Summer League complexes.

Times, TV Designations Set for UK Men’s Basketball’s SEC Schedule

Television designations and tip times for all of Kentucky men’s basketball’s Southeastern Conference schedule were released by the league on Tuesday. UK will be featured on a national telecast in every game. Kentucky’s early season nonconference games were previously announced.

Kentucky Men’s Basketball vs. Detroit Mercy Postponed

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky men’s basketball game vs. Detroit Mercy on Dec. 15 in Rupp Arena has been postponed. The game, originally scheduled for Nov. 27 in the Bluegrass Showcase and then rescheduled to Dec.
