This weekend took the Pendleton County Cross Country team to Ryle High School for the NKAC.
Eighth grader Sam Hodge and seventh graders Patrick Patton and Klaber Wolfe stepped up their game to run with Senior Garrett Jack in the high school race.
In the 5000 meter race, Klaber Wolfe finished in a time of 20.04.99 placing him 4th in the small school division and 10th overall.
Garrett Jack completed the 5K with a time of 20.31.32 placing him 10th.
Both Patrick Patton and Sam Hodge set personal records in the 5000 meter.
Coach Craig Chaplin reiterates that this is still a very young team and he is excited to watch the team continue to improve in the coming seasons.
The team will take to the terrain in Paris next weekend for the KTCCCA High School Meet of Champions.
