    Jayski.com reported that Tony Kanaan will share driving duties in the #48 Honda with Jimmie Johnson for the  IndyCar season next year. Johnson will race the street and road courses while Kanaan will drive all the oval events.
    NASCAR champ Chase Elliott will be running a midget in the Chili Bowl Nationals. Other drivers entered into the Chili Bowl are Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Chase Briscoe, Justin Allgaier, Alex Bowman, Ryan Newman, J.J. Yelley, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. The event will be held Jan. 11-16 and will be available over the internet on Floracing.com
    It was reported on Twitter that John Hunter Nemechek will be driving next season in the Truck Series full time for Kyle Busch Motorsports.

    Lucas Oil Late Model Tim McCreadie won the Arizona Sport Shirts Crown Jewel Cup which is an 11 race competition within the Lucas Oil Series. McCreadie won three events in the Cup chase: North South 100 at Florence Speedway, I-80 Nationals at I-80 Speedway, and Jackson 100 at Brownstown Speedway. He edged out Jimmy Owens for the series win with Josh Richards, Earl Pearson Jr., and Tyler Erb rounding out the top five.  
    Snowball Derby Week which has seven divisions starts Wednesday night in Pensacola, Florida. Chase Elliott and Grant Enfinger will be among 70 or more drivers attempting to qualify for the Snowball on Sunday December 6.
    Dakota Stroup from Maceo, Kentucky will be racing in the Pro Late Model Snowflake 100 on Saturday December 5. Both events are available on Pay Per View on Speed51.com price for the weeks viewing is $74.99.
