This is big money weekend as Eldora host two Dream races for over a $1000,000 each and NASCAR has the All Star race at Texas for $1,000,000.
This weekend the place to be in dirt was at Eldora as the Tony Stewart owned track hosted two Dream races. 74 cars officially entered the race on Thursday with Brandon Sheppard sitting on the pole. The field was a Who’s Who of dirt racing talent all looking for that first place finish and the $127,000 check that goes along with it. Brandon Overton came from fourth to capture the checkers. Tim McCreadie was almost there finishing in second from his eleventh place starting position. Dennis Erb Jr. started 25th and finished in sixth place.  In the B Main Jason Feger had a terrible wreck, flipping his car end over end down the track, but walked away unhurt. Scott Bloomquist missed the driver’s meeting and was not allowed a qualifying time.
