The Pendleton County Bowling team closed out the month of December by picking up wins in boys match play, as well as girls and unified action.

With the match tied at 2-2, Highlands took the first baker game 206-194 pulling ahead of the Wildcats 3-2. Determined not to take a loss, the boys kicked it into high gear and won the second baker game 204-143 to take the point tying the score 3-3. With a total pin count of 2673, the Wildcats took the total pin point to win the match 4-3.  In the Ladycat match, the two teams would be tied 2-2 after the first round. The baker game points were again split between the teams, making the score 3-3. As did the Wildcats, the Ladycats took total pin count 1455-1438 to take the final point and win the match 4-3. This is the Ladycats second match win of the season.  On December 19, the Wildcat unified teams was back in action. In the head to head part of the match, PC#1 had a bye with PC#2 going up against Highlands #5 in the first round. Although the game was close Highlands #5 eliminated PC#2 from the match 74-69. In the second round PC#1 went up against Dayton #2. Wildcat Jordan Ewers stepped onto the lanes ready to bowl and lead his teammate Kyan Brewer to victory. And that is exactly what Jordan did. With the crowd cheering and without hesitation, Pendleton County took down Dayton #2 120-80, Dayton #3 180-84, Simon Kenton #6 147-99 and Dayton #5 169-115 to become the match champions with a match average of 157.6.
