Bowling team sets new records versus Scott

The Pendleton County Bowling team produced both new team and individual records in a memorable week of competition.

On November 14, the Ladycats bowling team faced Notre Dame. The Ladycats split the points with their opponent 2-2 in the first two rounds. Notre Dame rallied and took the next two baker game points and total pins for the win 5-2. Scores as follows: Alyiah Webster 95-137, Brooklyn Wrobleski 96-125, Kree Brewer 179-147. The Wildcats team faced Covington Catholic. In the first two rounds the Wildcats split the points 2-2. The Wildcats then turned it on and sweep the baker games and total pin count to give them the win 5-2. Scores as follows: Colton Webster 115, Kyan Brewer 195-206, Leroy Bryant 138-141, Chance Enzweiler 203-167, Bradley Brann 189-265, Karson Enzweiler 164-162, Braden Brann 229-188, Adam Straus 160-159, Josiah Hurdle 109. 

On November 16, the Wildcats were back on the lanes against Scott High. Still hyped from their match win on Tuesday, Pendleton County took command of the match. The Wildcats took both game points in the first round with brothers Bradley and Braden Brann leading the way with a 278 game each. Not to be left out, Leroy Bryant and Kyan Brewer followed with a 212 and 218 game respectively. In the second round, the 200 games didn't stop earning the Wildcats two more points to lead Scott 4-0. Once again leading the team Bradley Brann had a 236, Braden Brann 218 and Chance Enzweiler 212. The Wildcats went on the win both baker games 180-103 and 184-107 giving Pendleton County the match win 7-0.

The team also set a new school record for the most pins scored in single match play with a total pin count of 2,833. Scores as follows: Leroy Bryant 212-148, Adam Straus 169-150, Karson Enzweiler 175-179, Kyan Brewer 218-185, Braden Brann 278-218, Colton Webster 117-129, Chance Enzweiler 128-212, and Bradley Brann, who set a new program record for a two game series with scores of  278 and 236. 

The Ladycats split the points with Scott in the first two rounds making the score 2-2 going into the baker games. Maddie Crawford lead the Ladycats in scoring the first round with a 167 and Kree Brewer lead the second round with a 220 game. The Ladycats were not able to complete the win losing both baker points and total pins to Scott. Scott won the match 5-2. Scores as follows: Brooklyn Wrobleski 144-120, Kree Brewer 147-220, Maddie Crawford 167-126, Alyiah Webster 108-118, Dara Morton 79-82.
