The Cincinnati Bengals came short in getting their first victory of the season on Sunday.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz led his team down the field with a touchdown in the last couple of minutes in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 23 apiece.

No one scored in overtime, and the game ended in a tie. The Bengals have the most overtime ties in the National Football League since 2008. They have two ties against the Eagles in that span.
Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow had another stellar game, 31 for 44 passing for 312 and two touchdowns, both caught by Tee Higgins, who has 40 yards receiving.

Tyler Boyd had a breakout game, 10 receptions for 125 yards. On defense, the Bengals picked off Wentz twice. LeShaun Sims and Logan Wilson both had an interception.

The Bengals again relied on more field goals than touchdowns as Randy Bullock made all three of his field goals, including a 48 yarder in the game.

Also, Burrow wasn’t protected as much as we would have liked. He was sacked three times in the game and was hit on half of his drop backs.

Neither team could do much in overtime, and the game ended in a tie. The Bengals dropped to 0-2-1 on the season to remain winless.

The Bengals will take on the 1-2 Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium at 1:00pm. The Bengals are the early favorite to win the game.
