Eckhart to attend West Point Program

    PCHS Student Shelby Eckhart will attend two virtual summer programs hosted by the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
    Despite the online platform, the program will include most topics and events that students would have participated in at West Point.
    Shelby will be attending college courses that the United States Military Academy offers, joining information sessions about what it takes to get into the Academy and engaging in sessions that focus on honing the skills of leadership and teamwork.
    The high school is very proud of her for earning a spot in this exclusive program!
    She is eagerly looking towards this summer, saying, “I look forward to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and the challenges that come with the dedication it takes to apply to the Service Academy.”
    The programs will be online this year, due to Covid-19 concerns and an abundance of caution, and each will last for four days.
