Wildcat mulch sale
Dreading getting your flower garden ready this spring? Let the PC Wildcat Football team lay your mulch for you. During the month of April, purchase your mulch at Heilman’s Hardware Store in Falmouth and let them know that you are buying mulch to support the football team. You may also purchase your mulch directly from a PC football player. Then the team will deliver and spread your mulch for $30 for bulk mulch or $1 per bag. All you have to do is simply buy the mulch and prepare your area. The team will bring the tools and do all the dirty work. When the players arrive, just point to where you would like to have the mulch placed, and the football players will do the rest. Weather permitting, the days for spreading mulch will be April 22nd, April 29th, and May 5th. Additional dates will be added if needed.
Prices for mulch at Heilman’s are as follows: black double processed-$35 per scoop; black triple processed-$40 per scoop; black double processed bag-$5.25 per bag; red double processed bag-$5.25 per bag; and black triple processed bag-$6.25 per bag. Sales tax applies.
By purchasing mulch from Heilman Hardware and having the football team spread your mulch, you are supporting a local business and helping the football team pay for team meals throughout the season. After a long day at school, the team needs a healthy meal as they head off to play Junior Varsity games on Mondays and Varsity games on Friday nights. Twice a week, over 40 athletes are fed. This ensures that all players have the nutrition they need to do their best. Head football coach, Kyle Pettit, says, “The boys have been working out all winter long and are ready to show off their strength with some good old fashioned hard work on your landscaping, so you don’t have to! All the proceeds go directly to the players, specifically to feeding these hungry boys on Game Days, giving them a good meal before they perform on the football field.
