Cross Country team sign-ups on July 15

Pendleton County Cross Country practice and sign-ups for the new fall season will be held on July 15 at Sharp Middle School in Butler at 7 a.m. All students, boys and girls entering grades 6 through 12 are invited to attend. There are several athletes returning who have also participated on the elementary level. Both varsity teams graduated just one senior each and several new recruits have committed to the team. There will be four teams: Boys and Girls varsity as well as boys and girls middle school. Forms will be handed out to all who attend and in athletes who have up-to-date physicals will be able to participate in a short practice. The meeting will be mostly informational and a summer training schedule will be handed out. If interested, athletes and parents may be given a tour of the cross country course following the conclusion of the short practice. A list of the meet schedules will be handed out during the informative meeting.
